The 300mm COBALT 246-494 metal hacksaw is designed for straight-line sawing of products made of structural steel, soft non-ferrous metals, plywood, OSB, plastic, tiles when installing the appropriate canvas. The rectangular frame is made of carbon structural steel with a D-shaped plastic handle. The hacksaw is characterized by a small weight in combination with a simple reliable design of direct tension with a lamb nut. The canvas can be installed at an angle of 90 degrees to the plane of the frame in both directions. The set includes a wavy metal sheet made of carbon tool steel (HCS) with a tooth pitch of 1.06 mm (24 TPI) optimal for sawing sheet steel, thin-walled rolled steel and products 2-8 mm thick. Total/working length 435/300 mm.
