ADHESION AND APPLICATION
It has excellent adhesion to most building materials: glass, metal, ceramics, wood, various types of plastics
It is especially well suited for sealing joints around door frames and window frames, for protecting polyurethane foam from UV rays, sealing deformation joints and joints, sealing showcases, stands, panels, wires, cable channels and other works.
PREPARATION FOR USE
The surfaces on which the sealant will subsequently be applied must be clean, dry and free of any loose materials, dust, dirt, rust, oil or other contaminants. If necessary, clean non-porous surfaces with a solvent and wipe with a clean cotton cloth. Remove the solvent with a clean, dry cloth before it evaporates.
It is recommended to cover the areas adjacent to the seam with masking tapes to prevent contamination of the substrate and ensure a neat line of sealant. Masking tape must be removed
RESTRICTION OF USE
· It is not recommended to use for working with double-glazed windows and .for structural glazing.· It is not recommended to use with metals such as lead, copper, brass or zinc, due to corrosion, it is incompatible with alkaline substrates such as marble, concrete, fibrous cement and lime, since during vulcanization the product releases acetic acid.
· It is not recommended to use with natural stone: marble, granite and quartzite, since this causes staining.
· It is not recommended to use it to fasten an aquarium or materials subject to immersion in water for a long time.
· Not recommended for food-related applications where seams may have contact with food.
· It is not recommended to use for mounting mirrors.
SECURITY
During vulcanization, acetic acid is released. It is not recommended to inhale these vapors for a long time or at their high concentration. It is necessary to ensure proper ventilation of the workplace. If unvulcanized silicone rubber gets into the eyes or mucous membranes, they must be rinsed with water to avoid irritation.
Vulcanized silicone rubber is safe for health.

STORAGE
Silicone acid sealant Macrofix universal is suitable for at least 12 months when stored in a cool (below 25°C) in a dry place, protected from humidity in the original container.
The expiration date of each batch is indicated on the product label.
