ADHESION AND APPLICATION
Mastersil 794 silicone neutral sealant has excellent adhesion without the use of a primer to most non-porous materials: glass, tile, ceramics, enamel, glazed surfaces; metals such as aluminum, steel, zinc and copper, impregnated, varnished or painted wood, most types of paints. Mastersil 794 silicone sealant has excellent adhesion to acrylic surfaces and various plastics, including PVC, without causing destruction or staining of these surfaces.
Users can also conduct their own experiments thanks to the variety of materials.
In some cases, the adhesion quality can be improved by pretreating the surface with a primer.

· sealing of acrylic baths and PVC joints;
· sealing of joints along the perimeter of structures;
PREPARATION FOR USE
The surfaces on which the sealant will subsequently be applied must be clean, dry and free of any loose materials, dust, dirt, rust, oil or other contaminants. If necessary, clean non-porous surfaces with a solvent and wipe with a clean cotton cloth. Remove the solvent with a clean, dry cloth before it evaporates.
It is recommended to cover the areas adjacent to the seam with masking tapes to prevent contamination of the substrate and ensure a neat line of sealant. The masking tape should be removed immediately after smoothing the sealant.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
· Mastersil 794 neutral silicone sealant may discolor upon contact with other elastomers, such as EPDM, ARTK or neoprene.
· Mastersil 794 neutral silicone sealant can be used to seal joints with natural stone, marble, granite and quartzite, but first it is necessary to conduct a test on a small area of the sealant application to exclude a reaction to staining.
· It is not recommended to use Mastersil 794 neutral silicone sealant for structural glazing and bonding of the aquarium.
SECURITY
During vulcanization, ethanol is released. It is not recommended to inhale ethanol vapors for a long time or at high concentrations. It is necessary to ensure good ventilation of the workplace. If the non-vulcanized silicone sealant gets into the eyes or mucous membranes, they must be thoroughly rinsed with water to avoid irritation.
Vulcanized silicone sealant is safe for health.
