The sealing paste of the company "UNIPAK" is a gray, highly viscous substance.
All components included in the composition are allowed as additives in food products.
Application.
UNIPAK paste is used together with flax fibers or a sealing linen cord to seal threaded connections in piping systems for hot and cold water, as well as steam under low pressure.
The paste ensures absolute tightness of the joint, as well as (unlike, for example, from the FUM tape) greater flexibility when adjusting pipe connections.
The angle of possible alignment of the connection is at least 45 ° without loss of tightness.
The use of UNIPAK paste makes it possible to easily dismantle the threaded elements of the equipment in the future.
When assembling threaded connections of pipes and fittings with the help of paste and linen fibers of the company "UNIPAK", it is possible to obtain connections, which remain sealed at temperatures up to + 140 °C and a pressure of 8 bar.
Method of application.
Thoroughly clean the thread from dirt and metal shavings.
Wrap the linen fibers on the thread evenly and tightly in the direction of the thread pitch along its entire length.
Apply the required amount of UNIPAK paste in an even layer.
After a short period of time, it is possible to assemble and start operation of the pipeline.
Possible excess paste is easily removed with a cloth.
